Yes. All applicants are required to pay an application processing fee, which applies to both local students and international students who do not require a student visa.
For international students who require a Malaysian student visa, an EMGS application processing fee of RM2,500 must be paid before visa submission can begin. Our admissions team will provide clear instructions on the required fees and the payment steps for your specific situation.

Essential Documents to Prepare
Understanding e-VAL, e-Visa, SEV, and VOA
e-VAL (Visa Approval Letter)
This is the official approval for a student visa issued by Malaysian Immigration.
Students can download the e-VAL from the EMGS website or receive it via email from ILC.
You will need the e-VAL to apply for your e-Visa or SEV, depending on your nationality.
e-Visa Eligible Countries
Students from the following countries may apply for an e-Visa online using their e-VAL. They do not need to visit the Malaysian Embassy:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Montenegro, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain
SEV (Single Entry Visa) Required Countries
Students from the countries listed below must obtain a SEV from the Malaysian Embassy in their home country or country of residence before traveling to Malaysia:

VOA (Visa On Arrival)
Students from certain countries that do not qualify for e-Visa and do not have a Malaysian Embassy may enter Malaysia with Visa On Arrival (VOA) using their e-VAL.
